Chehalis Fling

Vol 1 of this series may prove disturbing to many viewers. While the "Selective Fishing" video viewed earlier shows how WDFW and the Fish & Wildlife Commission publicly promote the concept as a responsible means for extending commercial seasons, the "Chehalis Fling" video documents how the program is actually practiced in the Chehalis Basin and Willapa estuary. Watch with your own two eyes as thousands of exhausted Chinook and Chum from stocks the Department knows are declining are pulled from nets and flung overboard to waiting seals and crabs near the 101 Bridge in Aberdeen.
