It is opening day for fall salmon so the dance is on! Those who enjoy summer light tackle should enjoy this years season with the early opener which is about jacks. Enjoy but all should keep in mind to use proper release methods if you get a hold of a adult Chinook. It is important.
Still not much to report other than if out on the river be careful as a lot of small debris is moving up and down stream with the tides.
The links are to websites for weather, flows, and tide charts for folks to utilize. Decent sites and fairly simple to use which is always helpful. Keep in mind from Aberdeen to Friends landing the low ebb & high tide will drag between 1.5 to 1.75 hours behind the beaches dependent upon where you are in the tide cycle.
